- Upload your lists for each character: List of facts, list of questions, list of answers to the questions – as you see discover or interpret them, for each character.
- Write 1 paragraph (about 150 Words) on each character in the play in your own words – do not use the character summary from the play itself. Include age and physicality but focus more on your interpretation of the character’s background, family, culture, objectives, desires, fears, etc.
Make sure that you write on each character in the play, not just the ones in your scene.
If you are creating character sketches for a 319 or an advanced directing project with more than 3 actors, then your sketches can be shorter as long as they are somewhat specific in tone (not necc. in physicality.)
- Successful completion of the assignment as dictated by the project as listed above.
- Thoughtful descriptions, regarding both physicality but also director’s vision for the character in terms of intention, purpose, objectives and character traits.
